Channel 10, Israel’s leading business and technology news program, invited Aviram Amit, VP Business Development at Accellta, to discuss the company’s breakthrough cultured dairy-fat technology—a pioneering solution to the global milk-fat shortage.

In the interview, Aviram explained how Accellta uses pluripotent stem cells cultivated in 3D suspension bioreactors to produce authentic dairy fat—without cows. The process yields real milk-fat identical in taste, texture, and structure, while offering the ability to customize fatty-acid composition for specific dairy applications such as ice cream, butter, and cheese.

“We’re entering an era where food from animals can be produced without animals,” said Amit. “Our cultured milk-fat is cleaner, healthier, and far more sustainable, reducing carbon emissions, water use, and animal suffering.”

The segment also explored how Accellta’s platform enables large-scale, non-GMO, animal-free production that meets growing global demand for sustainable, clean-label dairy ingredients—opening a new culinary world where, as Amit joked, “you could soon fry a steak in butter that’s 100 percent dairy-tasting, yet completely parve.”
